The Center for Clinical Imaging Research (CCIR) offers state-of-the-art imaging equipment for both clinical and research purposes. Available modalities are computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET) and PET-CT combination. Additionally, CCIR has a single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) instrument for head scan protocols.
CCIR is fully equipped for administering routine imaging procedures to complex nuclear medicine protocols. The facility houses an imaging laboratory that can be used with multiple service rooms that include accommodations for such needs as patient interviews and assessment, procedure preparation, remote observation, with an area for post procedure relaxation. CCIR offers patients total comfort in a new and secure facility.
The Center for Clinical Imaging Research is housed in the same building as the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR) along the Biomedical Discovery District corridor.
